This is a case of such concern, that certain scientists have claimed that if we do not come up with a solution for this problem, chocolate could be gone by the year 2040. Terrifying.

Jennifer Doudna was one of the key people in developing the groundbreaking CRISPR Cas9 gene editing system. She is an award winning biochemist and founded the Innovative Genomics Institute, where CRISPR Cas9 is being used to help combat a number of real world problems.
